Job Description
As a Track and Trace Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment coordinating our day-to-day shipments and supporting the efforts of our office by providing visibility and maintaining accurate documentation for all loads. There is a wide range of duties in this position, including to:
- Performing data entry for order and load tracking and tracing
- Providing clear and concise communication, troubleshoot customer concerns, and to proactively monitor the movement of freight to ensure customer satisfaction
- Closely monitoring freight via multiple detailed websites to ensure accurate delivery times and to notify customers of potential delays
- Determining whether to notify someone of delayed freight or to involve them in claims on late or damaged freight
- Communicating with load planners to accomplish support functions and stay on task
- Running daily and weekly tracking reports
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- No experience required! We are looking for self-starters.
- All our team goes through a 1-week onboarding training We assign you a supervisor to help you navigate your way around and continuous education to help you further your career.
- Associates Degree or relevant experience with exposure to transportation
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
- Experience in tracking, tracing, and data entry
- Ability to multi-task and produce results under pressure
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Understanding of service-focused operations teams that support a group of customers whose operations are 24/7/365
